Learn everything you need to know about potatoes. From fresh to frozen to dehydrated potatoes, Potato University will take you on a farm-to-fork journey where you will learn about the different potato types and how to best use them. You’ll also learn how to store them properly along with potato nutrition and current menu trends. And when it comes to cooking, you’ll find modules on roasting, baking, frying, sautéing, and more. In the future, additional modules will be offered on an increasing range of information and techniques on how best to utilize potatoes on your menus.

WHO IS POTATO UNIVERSITY FOR?​

Students come from various areas of the food industry, including volume restaurant chains, restaurant groups, universities, catering, broad-line distributors, food contract management companies, culinary school programs, potato industry organizations, and retailers.

DOES POTATO UNIVERSITY COUNT TOWARD MY CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS?​

Certain courses within Potato University are approved for 2 continuing education credit hours with the American Culinary Federation (ACF) and Research Chefs Association (RCA).

WHAT IS THE COST?

Potato University is complimentary. There are no costs associated with the lessons within this program.
